Stage 2 had a fantastic excursion to Booderee National Park as part of the History Unit of Work 'Community and Remembrance'. While we were there, students went on a walk through the Botanical Gardens where Park Rangers showed students plants that were used in traditional times as bush tucker and bush medicine. We also saw bats and turtles and made snake whistles from the leaves of the whistle plant.
